I’m Sarah.
There isn’t a story that has pushed me away.
Change can feel scary, and learning to sit with difficult emotions can be frustrating. In therapy, we work on both: building practical skills to help you respond differently, while also learning how to accept and understand what you’re experiencing right now. I believe both validation and gentle challenge are essential for lasting growth.
Above all, my goal is to help you move toward greater peace, stability, and a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.

You notice emotions can influence your behavior, your thoughts, and reactions. You want people in your life who can accept you, but history has shown that they can also hurt you so quickly. Living for the moment feels great, until you are left with regret the next day. You wonder if you are thriving or if you are just getting by.
You never get in trouble with using substances. Your health is good, and you don’t sneak around. Maybe drinking a lot of coffee the next day is the only thing that helps to make sure you are up to help with the kids. If the groceries or laundry isn’t done, it is not the end of the world. You have time later to do it. It’s probably the signs of getting older and being busier. Or maybe there is something more going on.

I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to learn how to balance change with acceptance, intention and reaction, and how to set boundaries while being flexible.
