  • I am located in Waukesha Wisconsin, but I serve the whole state of Wisconsin virtually.

  • It is simple. A link is sent to you through your Athena health account you set up at booking. This will be the link you use for each session.

  • I use a health portal to allow me to take confidential health information to give me the best picture of your health, confidential messages from you, and allow a team to assist me if I might have an emergency. This way you stay protected and kept up to date if something unexpected happens.

  • Since both of us are getting to know each other, the first appointment is discussing symptoms, areas of concern, and answering any questions you may have about treatment. We will also start discussing goals you have about what you want to see change.

  • At this time, I do not have in person appointments. However, it is my plan to offer in person appointments in the future.

  • Initial appointment - $175

    45-50 minute session - $125

  • This is up to each individual about how they want their insurance involved.

    • Self-pay: Insurance is not involved at all and you pay the full fee of each session.

    • Out-of-network: You pay the full price of the service up front. I can give you a superbill for the dates and type of service rendered. You can submit this to your insurance to get reimbursement.

As a private pay therapist, my clients are allowed the individual choice about how they want their insurance involved and gives more autonomy to his/her personal treatment.

  • I ask that you give 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appt.  Since we have identified a day/time that is your time each week you’re making a commitment to be there.  If the 48 hours notice is not given then a $50 charge will be due. If I can get you rescheduled in the same week then I’ll waive the fee.  So, if you’re sick or your child is sick, and you can’t give 48 hours notice, then if I have availability for the same week I’ll waive the fee.

  • There are many reasons why I don’t take insurance. Here are a few reasons:

    • Insurance companies can ask for therapy notes.

    • Insurance can determine if therapy is needed and for how long.

    • I don’t want a client’s diagnosis to be the main focus of treatment for insurance to cover sessions

    • It can take months before I am reimbursed for services rendered.

    • Insurance can ask for money back from me if they feel it is justified.

    • I can have more flexibility in my scheduling and spend more time being prepared for your session

    • Clients still get the option of submitting to their insurance for reimbursement for out-of-network. I can provide a super bill for my clients.

  • This is an estimate of yearly what you can expect to pay for therapy.
